The Boston Bolts South Shore region was established under the guidance of Don Whitaker in 2015. By providing exceptional training in a professional environment, the South Shore region ensures that the Bolts provide a great local soccer experience for young players throughout Plymouth, Norfolk, Bristol & Barnstable county. Our South Shore staff has a wealth of experience, with a proven track record of player development with two teams claiming USYS State Championships in 2023!
We are excited to be the home of the Boston Bolts ECRL boys program! The ECRL platform establishes a high-level pre-professional training environment for top student-athletes who aim to play in national events and compete with teams from across the country. It provides meaningful games in a proven environment, designed to aid in those players’ development & help them transition to the collegiate level, while allowing all clubs an opportunity to compete amongst each other in regionalized competition. We are proud to say that the success of our teams over the past two years has resulted in the Boston Bolts being the highest ranked club in the ECRL!
At the Bolts we have a very clear developmental philosophy that aims to encourage creative, dynamic thinkers who are brave on the pitch. No matter where you might be as a player, our environment aims to instill a you vs you mentality. This means that each day, players work on being better versions of themselves, instead of comparing themselves to others. This belief system has helped the South Shore grow and become a region that supports multiple high level platforms with teams in the ECRL and USYS National League!

Based on cumulative placement of all teams across the country, the Bolts South Shore Program is #1 nationally in the ECRL

Our 2010 ECRL boys continued their great league form and captured the 2023 USYS Massachusetts State Cup, ultimately representing the club at the Eastern Regionals!

Our 2009 ECRL boys finished first i the ECRL standings and used that momentum to bring home the 2023 USYS Massachusetts State Cup!

Huge congratulations to the Bolts 2006 ECRL team and Coach James Callahan on their amazing season. In 2023, the team won the ECRL Regional Championships, earning their way to the ECNL RL Finals in California!
