BOLTS ANNOUNCE USL LEAGUE TWO 2022 SCHEDULE

BOSTON – The United Soccer League (USL) today announced its 2022 regular season schedule, a campaign that sees each of its League Two teams play 14 matches – 7 home and 7 away. The Boston Bolts will officially kick-off the season at our Commonwealth rival, Western Mass Pioneers on May 20.

This season, the USL League Two is further expanding its reach in the pre-professional ranks by welcoming new clubs from across the country. Three new clubs will compete in the USL2 Northeast Division for the first time.

The four matchups against local Massachusetts opponents, Western Mass Pioneers and Boston City FC, highlight the 2022 schedule. The Bolts are excited to welcome fans to our home opener on May 25 at 8pm as we host Boston City FC as part of Boston’s newest rivalry.

All home games this season are free to attend and will be played at the Mount Ida campus of UMass Amherst in Newton, MA. The Bolts aim to build on last year’s success and return to the playoffs once again after going 10-4-0 with 29 goals scored.

The 2022 season marks the continuation of the partnership between USL League Two and live-streaming platform ELEVEN, which will expand access to games for fans and ensure they can stream every Bolts game.
