Do I have to register online?

Current Bolts Players do NOT have to complete this in 2020.  Prospective players should complete this REGISTER TO TRYOUT

Do current Bolts players have to tryout?

For 2020, current Bolts players have been offered a spot for next year and will be emailed their registration information.

How do I know what age group?

All teams are formed by Birth Year

Which Region has Academy & ECNL tryouts?

We offer many opportunities throughout the year for Bolts players to be seen – ID Centers, Clinics & Camps, etc. Academy tryouts are by invitation only.  Please contact Dan Colwell

How do I know if I made the team?

Players & parents are contacted with 2-3 days after the tryouts.  Be sure that you have a current email and cell number listed in your Prospective Player Form

How much does it cost to join?

Tuition varies for all Bolts programs.  Players who are offered a roster spot, are sent a player agreement which outlines the fees and what is covered for the year.

We are interested in Bolts but not sure we can afford it, is there financial aid available?

Boston Bolts have some limited financial assistance. It is strictly need based.  Once you have been selected for a team, you can apply for a financial aid. It is a short 2-step process that requires that you submit a 1-page application and complete an online registration.  In most cases once we receive your application, we can give you a response within a day.

How do I get a uniform?

Bolts New Balance uniform kits and gear are ordered directly through our official supplier WeGotSoccer. Once you have registered, players are assigned jersey number by the club and sent instructions on how to order. We have a 2-year cycle for uniforms.  Samples are available for try-on at WeGotSoccer in Wrentham.

Can my child play up on an older team?

If the Bolts coaches feel that it is in the best interest of the development of your child to play up, they will contact you.
