Bolts 24 Hour Soccer Marathon

On January 31st & February 1st, 2020, the Boston Bolts will host a 24-hour soccer marathon as a charity and fundraising event in the Mount Ida Gym in Newton. Players from all Bolts teams will participate in the soccer marathon and proceeds will benefit both MGHfC Concussion Clinic and the Boston Bolts Scholarship Fund. Mass General Hospital and Boston Bolts are both 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. All donations are 100% tax-deductible. A receipt will be provided for tax purposes.

We are excited about sharing a portion of our proceeds from our largest fundraiser of the year, to support the valuable research and clinical work being done by this group.  In addition, our partnership with MGH is an integral part of our club’s strategic goals to create a superb medical referral network to care for our own athletes! This event provides an opportunity for the Boston Bolts players to contribute to their club and to the community, while doing what they do best — play soccer.  Soccer will be played in the gym with Bolts players matched up against one another, hourly, until games have been played for 24 hours! Each Boston Bolts player will contribute about an hour of playing time.


Fundraising Goal: We ask each player to raise $300. This is a lofty goal that when met, will provide satisfaction to all Bolts players. They will know that their efforts will lead directly to a substantial contribution to worthy causes. We accept MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, Discover.

Prizes: Team & individual prizes will be awarded. The team who raises the most, the team who has the most players participate, the individual who raises the most, top regional fundraisers and more! Prizes include New Balance gear, custom New Balance jerseys for the team who raises the most, WeGotSoccer gift card and much more!

This is a great club-wide, Boston Bolts community event. Every player, coach, staff, assistant coach will be present to take part in this fun-filled day (and night) with parents, siblings, alums all invited too! We will have music, prizes, special guest appearances, awards, photo ops and lots of laughs.
