FC Boston Partners with Needham Memorial Day College Showcase

Needham Soccer Club and FC Boston Partner for Famed Memorial Day Showcase Tournament

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Needham, MA – July 15, 2016 - The Needham Soccer Club, provider of multi-faceted soccer programs that support physical and social development for community youth, today announced that they have entered into a partnership with FC Boston, an American soccer club based in Waban, Massachusetts. Together, they will run and organize the Needham Soccer Club’s 41st year celebration of its famed Needham Memorial Day Tournament (NMDT) in 2017, as well as future tournaments. The NMDT is the largest in North America, and one of the oldest and most credible soccer tournaments in the country, attracting over 1100 teams from around the world. The 41st Needham Memorial Day Tournament and its inaugural FC Boston College Showcase will take place May 26-29th, 2017.

With ties to US Soccer’s Development Academy, ECNL the top girls league in the US, National Premier Leagues and New England Premiership, FC Boston will provide NMDT access to top clubs and competition as well as a vast network of college coaches.

NMDT is considered one of the largest youth soccer tournaments in the country and is one of the longest running tournaments in the US.  FC Boston one of the oldest premier soccer clubs in Massachusetts with top level coaching staff and affiliation with Italian professional club AS Roma.
