Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What do I need to complete prior to the start of camp?

  • Waiver (completed during online registration)
  • Physical & Certificate of Immunizations
  • Online Payment VISA, MC, Discover, AMEX or eCheck

Forms should be mailed to FC Bolts PO Box 50 Waban, MA 02468

Is there a deadline to register?

Acceptance is on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited.

Do we have to submit medical forms?

We recommend that you mail-in in the Medical/Health form prior to the start of camp. The camper must have had his last physical within the past year (12 months prior to camp dates) and have a doctor's signature. Scan and email or mail the forms.

What is the player to coach ratio?

There will be coach to player ratio 1:12 based on registration.

What is the refund policy?

There is a $250 non-refundable deposit due upon registration. There are no refunds for tuition. For extenuating circumstances such as serious injury please email the camp director.

There is a laundry room in each dorm. Machines are coin operated. Players can buy quarters & detergent at the camp store.

Do I need to bring linen?

Yes. Each camper needs to bring their own twin sheets, blanket (or sleeping bag), pillow and towels.

How many players to a room?

There will be 2 players in each room; a few rooms have 3 per room. Roommates can be requested anytime before July 15th. Please make the request during registration.

Does my child need to bring extra money?

We recommend that each player bring some spending money. Especially at night campers like to order pizza. We will provide the service of a "camp bank account" so that campers do not lose their money. If there is a balance at the end of camp you can claim it at the camp store before departure. We will have some snacks, drinks & Nike apparel or merchandise at a camp store, too.

Room and Board?

All players and coaching staff are housed in non-air conditioned dormitories on the St. Mark's Campus. Bring a fan with you. Meals are prepared in the St. Mark's dining hall; any allergies or special diets must be indicated on the medical form sent out by the camp director before camp.

Campers should have a soccer ball, shinguards, proper footwear (we will have use of both turf and natural grass fields)

Medical Staff?

A certified athletic trainer will be on duty at the site throughout the duration of the camp and UMass Memorial Marlboro Hospital is minutes away. All medical concerns must be made available to medical staff prior to the start of camp.
